Master Class at the IPO   10.30am Thursday 3 May   Zucker Hall, Charles Bronfman Auditorium
David Garrett, world-class international violinist, will be giving a master class to outstanding students from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at the at the Zucker Hall, Charles Bronfman Auditorium (home of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra) in Tel Aviv. The class is scheduled for three and a half hours with two short breaks. After the class, there will be time to either get a bite at one of the local eateries or eat your own snack lunch before we return to Netanya.
We will also be arranging tickets for the following master classes

10:30am Thursday 21 June with cellist Gautier Capuçon

International Writers Festival   8 to 11 May    MIshkanot Shaanim, Jerusalem
This literary event takes place every two years in Jerusalem. It is the prominent writer’s event in Israel, hosting many popular and upcoming Israeli writers and international writers. We are planning to purchase tickets and arrange transport to at least one of the programs. Tickets sell out almost immediately on publication of program- if you are interested in attending one of the lectures please leave your name at our box office 09 8330950.

Opera in Akko   Orfeo ed Euridice   Crusaders’ Court Akko   8.30pm Thursday 2 August
In an atmospheric setting, the Israel Opera will immerse us in the story of the mythical poet Orfeo arriving at the Crusaders’ Court in Akko in his journey towards hell. This is a special production created for the Akko Opera Festival. This full dress, dramatic production will take place in the ancient Crusaders' Court, with English translation in surtitles.
