About

Netanya AACI is the community center for all English speakers in the Netanya area.

Netanya is a wonderful place for English speakers to live, and a great place to retire. Hundreds of people make use of our varied programs and communal facilities year round. The center is run by volunteers.

We provide a variety of programs including lectures, concerts, social events and monthly trips to see and learn about Israel.

We offer guidance and absorption services for new immigrants and professional counseling on matters related to absorption, immigrants’ rights, job counseling, health funds, National Insurance – in short, how to cope with general life situations.

There are special interest groups such as art, exercise classes, chess, choir and drama.

The Gura Family Memorial library with its 6000+ volumes in English is a big drawing card.

Translation and professional advice services are available.

The two major goals of Netanya AACI are to look after the needs of our members and to reach out to the community.

Our outreach projects include an English tutoring program in local schools. Our volunteers are keen to contribute to Israeli society but are not always able to do so due to their lack of Hebrew, this project makes a real contribution to the greater community. We have a mobile library that delivers books to our housebound members. We also offer scholarships to qualifying students throughout the country.

We welcome all English speakers to visit our center and join in our programs and activities.
