After all\, there is no pressure to look for schools for your children\, you don’t need to find a job\, you even get additional subsidies; all of which provide you with the freedom to settle into and explore your new home at your leisure. This premise is not totally accurate. \nMiriam Naiman\, who has specialized in integration and absorption for new Olim since 2005\, will address the unique emotional challenges that older Olim face by leaving their friends\, family and support networks\, trying to navigate in a new culture\, often unfamiliar with Hebrew\, societal norms\, public transportation and so much more. She started a blog on 10 October which has spread worldwide and which reaches over 10\,000 people a day in Israel\, Canada\, France\, Australia\, the US\, the UK and elsewhere. People say that she was writing what they felt as Israel fights its enemies\, hostages are held and anti-Semitism rages across the world which stays silent. The first year of this war is now a published book- Voices From The Heart: A Year of War – which follows her personal journey from shock to hope to despair\, anger\, resilience and resignation as the world turned its back on Israel and the Jewish community. \nJayne Wynick is from Leeds\, UK. She has worked 25 years in the fashion industry\, in financial services\, as a magistrate and is active in community efforts and advocacy for Israel in Leeds and beyond. From rocket attacks and terror incidents to medical crises and mass casualty events\, United Hatzalah has built a nationwide network of trained medics equipped with cutting-edge technology and lifesaving equipment. Our response on October 7 and during the ongoing Iran-backed war is a continuation of this unwavering commitment to saving lives—anytime\, anywhere.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShai Jaskoll is the Director of Development for United Hatzalah of Israel. He has been involved in emergency medical services (EMS) since 1991\, starting as a volunteer in New Jersey\, US\, and ultimately culminating in managing the 9-1-1 EMS Communication Center in Newark\, NJ before moving to Israel in 2007. He has been an active medic with United Hatzalah since his arrival in Israel and has consulted previously for the organization with international implementation projects.\n\nShai has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Yeshiva University and a Master’s degree in Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU).\n\nNetanya AACI will be donating two EPiPens\, value 500 NIS\, to United Hatzalah.\n\n\nMembers Prepaid: 40 NIS\nMembers at the door and Non-members: 60 NIS\n\nPurchase tickets below\, call the box office 09-8330950 or pay at the door.\nWebsite ticket option available until noon on the day of evening events and until noon the prior day for daytime events.
