David Barr is a survivor from kibbutz Alumim, originally from Leeds, England. He will recall the tragedy of October 7th, living as an evacuee in Netanya, having children in the army and trying to move forward.
In David’s words: “My talk is a personal voyage going back to October 7. We lived on Alumim..and two of our married children lived on two kibbutzim also in the area. The talk also touches on the difficulties of being parents to children serving in the army.”
