Our Guide: Michael Even-Esh 

Michael was born in Kansas City. He received a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism before moving to Israel in 1979.

He worked in a kibbutz date-palm grove, spent time as a shepherd in the Galilee, served in the IDF Paratroops, was a nature guide in the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, was an organic sweet potato farmer, and led Bar Kochba Tunnel exploration teams with the Israel Cave Research Center.

Today he is a nature guide, teacher and outdoor educator and also teaches in a number of English and Hebrew Guides’ Courses run by the Ministry of Tourism.

Price includes: Transport from and to Netanya; two nights half board at Hacienda Forest View Hotel,

lunch Monday 13 March and Tuesday 14 March, wine tasting, cooking workshop and all entrance fees.

 

Price excludes: Transport to meet bus en-route from Netanya (i.e., Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Herzliya),

lunch Sunday 12 March (bring your own packed lunch), purchase of ice cream etc.

Non-members: NIS 2550

Single Supplement: NIS 750

Price includes a non-refundable reservation fee of NIS 250

 

Please note that participants must be in good health and not require walking assistance.

Depart: Netanya 7.30am Sunday 12 March

Return: Netanya 6.00pm Tuesday 14 March
