DESCRIPTION:Gilda Hami in Concert \nWith the Pzazzband Trio \n20:30 Thursday 19 February (note special time) \nGilda grew up in London in a house of music lovers\, which led her to love many musical styles standards and eventually become an accomplished singer and performer\, learning from her parents’ record collection of great singers – to name a few: Billie Holiday\, Ella Fitzgerald\, Sarah Vaughn\, Louis Armstrong\, Frank Sinatra\, Nat King Cole and many others. However\, her repertoire also includes Latin\, Rock\, Pop\, Country and many loved oldies from the 40s\, 50s\, 60s and 70s. \nGilda has been performing in Israel for many years\, with different musicians\, and big bands. Over the years\, she has performed at festivals\, concerts\, private functions\, as well as live on radio and television. Her disc is often played on local radio programs. \nAmong others\, Gilda performed for the Cultural Center of the American Embassy paying tribute to the great singer Billie Holiday\, with a Brazilian group in an evening for the Brazilian Ambassador and his entourage\, at a special brunch hosted by the Dan Hotel for the honorable Ambassadors in Israel\, and live on 88FM. \nGilda’s latest venture is performing with the Pzazzband trio\, featuring Roni Zur pianist\, Tal Cohan on contra bass and Zak (Harvey) Benson on percussion.\nGilda is doing what she loves most and was born to do and that is\, to sing with her heart and soul and to entertain you. \nThis concert includes fabulous hit songs\, such as “Georgia”\, “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”\, along with other great songs.
