Haifa’s versatility is the city’s charm with many different cultures.
We start our day with a guided tour of the Baha’i Gardens –located in the heart of Haifa, they feature a staircase of nineteen terraces extending all the way up the northern slope of Mount Carmel. The gardens feature graveled paths, hedges and flowerbeds groomed and nurtured by dedicated gardeners. The Gardens frame panoramic views of the city, the Galilee Hills and the Mediterranean Sea.
We will continue to Stella Maris Church and lookout whose bright white marble walls and a dome adorned with biblical scenes painted by Luigi Poggi, the most distinctive being the scene of Prophet Elijah ascending to Heaven in a chariot of fire, is a sight to behold.
Either bring a packed lunch or choose from one of a variety of eateries in the area.
After lunch we will hear about the city’s development from the sea to Mount Carmel, from east to west, and discover the secrets of the city.
We end our day in downtown Haifa to see this buzzing area with its historical, artistic and cultural spots.

All tiyul prices include NIS 20 fee for cancellations prior to two working days before the event. Late cancellations may incur additional charges. There is an additional fee of NIS 20 for non-members.
