Hear the fascinating and sad story of how not only did US intelligence know well in advance that Egypt and Syria were going to attack Israel during the Yom Kippur War, but how they also fed Israel false intelligence that the Arabs would NOT attack.
Bruce Brill and four other American servicemen, who worked for the US National Security Agency (NSA) in 1973, discovered the intelligence but not the false information, and could never prove it. More recently both writings of Moshe Dayan as well as a 2014 disclosure from NSA confirmed that US intelligence had indeed given the wrong assessment of the situation.
Brill has written a Pentagon-approved book with full disclosures that fit into his memoir of facts surrounding his military service and the related issues. The book is a fascinating autobiography and sensational glimpse into the concealed dark side of the NSA.
