Netanya AACI member Eddie Bielawsky was born in the town of Wegrow in Poland in mid-1938 and is probably one of the youngest Holocaust survivors with any memory of the war.
One night, when the family was under risk of death, Eddie’s father had a dream as to how he could keep his family safe.
Eddie’s young childhood was spent living in secret bunkers in the fields, under sheds and in barn lofts together with his family, in a desperate attempt to evade being discovered. They became “Invisible Jews”.
Join us to hear his harrowing story, as we prepare ourselves for Holocaust Memorial Day.
