Join us for a fun evening to learn about Scottish whisky with whisky connoisseur Orry Lovat.
On retirement from over 40 years of working in the property sector in the West of Scotland, Orry decided to indulge his passion which has always been whisky. His love for whisky started at the age of 21 when his father presented him with a bottle he had been given as a gift from the General Manager of a distillery on one of the islands. He savored every drop and although that bottle would now be worth a small fortune it started him off on what was to become an exciting trek around almost every distillery in Scotland.
Whisky is a drink that is rich with history, craftsmanship and culture. Orry will tell us about whisky, how it’s made and how three simple ingredients, water, yeast and barley, make so many varied and wonderful concoctions.
He will introduce us to the different regions in Scotland where whiskies are distilled and will explain how to identify the color, smell and aromas.
There will be five different whisky tastings.
We thank Orry for sharing his passion with us at Netanya AACI.
Price includes 5 different tastings and snacks. One lucky participant will get to take home a bottle of Scotch.
