What Makes the Novel “Tragedy of a Shapeshifter” Different

Alex is ‘everyman’ – He is your friend or neighbour, a stranger, or even you yourself. He has his ups and downs, his good days and his bad. He starts as a blank slate homeless person wandering the streets of New York, trying to survive while also trying to understand his unique situation – He has a curse: Once a month, between the night of the 26th and the 27th, he goes to sleep and wakes up the next day (in the same place) transformed, “wearing” a different body. This has been going on for months and he has no idea why this is happening to him or who he really is.
