Netanya AACI Folk Club – The Poleg Mountain Boys
19:30 Tuesday March 17 POSTPONED
Shmuel Hanatziv 28, Netanya
Come join us for renewed and revamped Netanya AACI Folk Club. Not to be confused with Cafe Netanya, this is a stage for both promising and established musicians in a friendly environment to share their talents with the music loving community at AACI and in the Netanya area.
Direct from the wild mountain region of Netanya, with deep roots in a dozen various musical genres originating thousands of miles from where they live, The Poleg Mountain Boys bring their music to share with audiences all over Israel.
The Poleg Mountain Boys are:
Seth Moscowitz, guitar and vocals. With a rich background in classic early 60’s rock and roll, Seth grounds the “boys” with strong rhythm guitar, solid leads and vocal harmonies that make all the songs pop.
Roby Simons, violin, harmonica and vocals. With a deep appreciation of Bluegrass and Americana music, Roby provides some great fiddling, soulful harmonica and innovative vocal interpretations to some of the most popular songs of the era.
Harley Zipori, guitar and vocals. Founder of the Netanya AACI Folk Club and folk music aficionado of the Israeli Anglo music scene for 40 years, Harley mines the wealth of 70’s and 80’s folk rock and popular music including all time fan favorites with some of the lesser known artistic achievements.
They will be joined by Michael Liebowitz, a native of Israel who spent a lot of time in the United States. He’ll be joining in with some Hebrew songs.
Come join us for a fun filled musical evening at Netanya AACI.
