Poppies for Sale

The UK Embassy in Israel has again reached out to Netanya AACI to help them sell poppies in Israel. Poppies are worn as a show of support for the UK Armed Forces community – a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future, representing the sacrifice of the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families.
British soldiers fought and died on the land we today call Israel. The poppy is a well-known and well-established symbol, one that carries a wealth of history and meaning with it; even to those who now call Israel home.
Wearing a poppy is still a very personal choice, reflecting individual experiences and personal memories. It is never compulsory but is greatly appreciated by those who it is intended to support.
Supporting the UK Embassy in Israel’s poppy sale, speaks volumes about the Israel that the international media will never write about. Israelis are peaceful, kind, and giving people.
Poppies are now available at the Netanya AACI front desk until 13 November. Thank you very much for your support.
