Traditional Asian sports and physical activities have a long history and are practiced by millions of people around the world. Healing Martial Arts are focused on healthy body and mind, and are comprised of myriads of available techniques, which were passed down from cultural traditions of China, Korea and Japan and provide a wide and very powerful arcenal for learning how your body works and how to use it in a healthy way. Numerous scientific and medical studies have identified these exercises and movements as the key ingredients to maintaining proper functioning of human organs and body systems.
For more than 5000 years, many forms of traditional sports and exercise activities have been widely practiced in Asia. Older adults have used these activities to help enhance their fitness, promote their health, and prevent disease. During the past three decades, traditional Asian healing arts have gained significant international recognition as a means of promoting cultural, educational, and health values. There is growing medical research evidence which supports claims for many health benefits of these exercises.
Moshe Ben Avraham organizes specialized health exercise and recovery training programs and classes that focus on restoring physical and mental health. He has taught Karate, Kung Fu and Taekwondo.
