Netanya AACI Receives Volunteer Recognition!

Our dedicated Netanya AACI volunteers were recognized by the Municipality for all our efforts during the pandemic.

As you may recall, we remained open with a skeleton crew of volunteers and employees who came to the premises to ensure that our members had a connection to needed services. The Mobile Library was greatly expanded, with up to 15 packages of books hand delivered all across the city every week or two.  We converted many of our programs to Zoom, from Zumba to lectures.  We invented new ways of connecting – and our Zoom Rooms provided special interest “clubs.” We continued to offer personnel to explain Israel bureaucracy and make phone calls on our behalf.  We made welfare calls and reached out to our members by phone.

Rabbi David and Paulette Woolf represented Netanya AACI at the reception. The band played, delicious food was served, and the mayor expressed her appreciation for the volunteers’ efforts.

Kol hakavod to all our volunteers!
