The monthly Poetry Please activity is now in its 15th year. Selections are largely from English and American poetry, as well as from translated Medieval Hebrew and modern Israeli poetry. Susan introduces a selection of poems on topics such as medicine, sports, music and place names.
Susan taught English Literature and British Culture at colleges and universities in North East England. If you haven’t come before, do join us and, if you are one of the loyal regulars, please keep coming.
